Do you, as an independent, laugh to yourself every time you see a "party" animal bicker?

I need to force myself to take breaks from Yahoo - the majority of these posts are full of party bashing animals who think that their parties are so mighty and hunkful and bent on saving the world. Do Democrats really think they're better than the Republicans, and vice versa? Are the "party" sheep really that shallow?
