What do free-trade negotiations and investors jetting around the wrold have to do with reducing poverty?

When you have free trade it means that you can sell and buy with whomever you want. THink about free trade coffee that comes from grows in Colombia. THe people who actually grow the coffee beans get paid directly from their harvests. So when they are paid they decide how to re-invest their money locally. It doesn't go to some big corporation who filters the money down until it gets to the bean growers in Colombia.
