Is ichigo's body his origonal?

I guess it would be vegetarian state or something. Of course it doesn't die, since Ichigo still uses it. I guess it's just an empty shell. Also, when Kon uses it, it's just switching with another soul. If the body did sustain too much damage, or like a disease destroyed it or something, it wouldn't be usable. I wouldn't be able to guess what would happen if it wasn't usable. He's already a shinigami so I don't think he would die. It would be a confusing situation if that happened.
