Constant leaking ceiling? landlord won't fix, mold?

I live on the 6th (top) floor of an apartment complex. I have a slow leak from the ceiling. Basically water constantly but very slowly drips. There is about a 6 inch drywall type wall that seperates my bedroom from the living room. The water drips from the crease basically right where the wall meets the ceiling and slides down the wall leaving an ugly stain. This happened on both the living room and bedroom side of this wall. The first time the landlord claimed they fixed it the leak stopped for about a month and they painted over the stain. The second & 3rd time the leak didn't even stop for a day and they claimed it was fixed. I've reported it again. I don't see any mold but constant water flowing in is making me nervous. Do I need to worry about mold growing in the wall?

Late period, negative HPT's, is it too soon to blood test?

Hi everyone. Well I am still not getting my period. My period was due Mar 6. I am like clockwork on a regular 28 day cycle. I am having all the symptoms that I had with my prior 5 pregnancies (5 pregnancies, 3 births). However, the only thing different this time is that my pee tests are coming out negative. With my other pregs they were positive sooner. I am going in for a blood test today and I want to be sure that I do not have a cyst, an ectopic pregnancy, or an infection. So what do you guys think? Could I still be pregnant and get a positive blood test today with two negative HPT's? The last neg HPT was Tuesday and it was on a EPT so I didn't think I was preggo. What are your thoughts?

If an object is obstructing the intestines, the tissue can become necrotic (die) because the blood flow is impeded. That means some portion of her intestines may have to be removed along with the object, if surgery is necessary but is delayed. Exercise during pregnancy?

Without being scientific about it I've had 3 children and have always enjoyed exercising. I would suggest that u do calm down a bit with the exercising as overexertion can cause problems. However its still good to exercise whilst pregnant, walking is brilliant, also swimming and Yoga. I would suggest that you seek advise from a personal trainer as to whether you should continue lifting weights as when you are in late stages of pregnancy your lower back will be under strain anyway and you wouldn't want to do anything to make it harder for yourself. Also remember just because your pregnant don't eat for two, just unnecessary and don't think you'll have to worry about your figure returning after wards as when your fit before it makes getting back into shape a lot quicker. Why do medical istants call themselves nurses?

I find it infuriating. I went to school for 4 years to become a nurse and cannot believe they throw around the label like it's nothing. Why do they do that? I have never thought of calling myself a doctor..or even allowing someone to mistakenly call me a doctor. I would correct them. I didn't go to school for 10 years and why would I lie to myself? I have about 3 friends who are Medical istants and when people call them nurses or ask if they are going to nursing school, they say "Yep, sure am." Are you effing kidding me? Your program is 6 months long and you were accepted the same day you applied. I applied against 500 applicants and only 15 of us were accepted. ARE YOU KIDDING ME???? What a slap in the face. Why can't they just be proud of being called a Medical istant? What would you do or say..without starting a fight?

Why am I having these nightmares and what does it mean?? Help!?

My uncle died last May of a heart attack and ever since then I've been having strange nightmares. I've had them about his funeral, and I've even seen him die in other nightmares. I wasn't present at his death, nor did I see him before the wake. I think about my uncle everyday, but not like this. Little things will just remind me of him, like some men's cologne or the way someone acts or speaks. I wake up in the middle of the night about 2 or 3 times. I've woken up screaming, or crying, or really sweaty, like i was trying to escape something. I also have nightmares about my father who is a fireman, and I've witnessed him dying in fires or getting seriously injured. I don't worry about him at all, but I do after i have these weird nightmares. What does all this mean?? help!

Well is different for everyone, frequency and style different in every relationship. There are really no wrong or right amounts to draw lines around. I mean I have been in functioning casual relationships before, but it's just not really my thing either. Call me crazy, but is just more enjoyable when you truly care for the other person. Yesterday, I heard a sound in the washroom at 11:00 pm while I was puting gel in my hair. It sounded like the cry of a baby. Advice for coping with my boyfriend's ex wife and their daughter?

I am a 20 year old in desperate need of some advice, opinions, and help. This will probably be a bit long, so for anyone who takes the time to read it I would like to say thank you, it means a lot to me. My boyfriend and I have been dating for around 10 months now, which isn’t very long but I do have strong feelings of love for him, as him for I. He is 20 also and has an ex wife and a 2 year old daughter with her. He got her pregnant, and says she conned him into marrying her, which is irrelevant, the point is they married. Anyways, I didn’t know about the ex or the daughter until after I had gotten to know him and realized how much I like him. So even though I’m young and didn’t feel I needed to deal with his burdens, I didn’t want it to hinder how I felt about him. I know that everyone makes bad decisions sometimes, but that shouldn’t hurt them forever. So I accepted and dated him anyways. Now, I’m having/have been having a lot of trouble dealing with his ex wife and accepting the both of them. He sees his little girl every weekend and then some days when his ex needs him to watch her, and I absolutely love her, she is the cutest thing and I always play with her and talk with her and she seems to like me well. Still, sometimes I feel a twinge of jealousy when he is spending time with her and I have to remind myself that their bond and love is much more important than I am. It’s still hard sometimes and I feel sad. I never show or would show any sort of animosity towards her at all. I would never bad mouth her mother or any thing like that. I just really try my best but I need some encouragement I guess. The ex wife on the other hand, is…a raging lunatic to put it seriously. She is always yelling and cussing at my boyfriend and telling him how worthless he is, almost every time they talk. She will call just to ***** him out, and even does it nearly every time they trade off their daughter, right in front of her. She says he doesn’t help out at all, when he clearly pays child support and keeps their daughter as much as/more than she does. Not to mention when they separated he gave her EVERYTHING they had, which left him in the basement at his mom’s house with not one thing that he owned. On top of all of this, and how badly she treats my boyfriend, she still calls and bugs his sisters about how much she is still in love with him. My boyfriend just wants her to be out of his life and only converse about their daughter, but she is very uncooperative. He tells her this all the time and that she needs to be more mature about things but it is useless. I really dislike her, not just because I feel jealousy that they we’re married and shared a child together, but mainly because of how badly she treats him and in front of their daughter to boot! On the other hand this woman HATES me, and bad mouth’s me to people saying trashy things, despite knowing nothing about me. Which doesn’t really bother me because people who do know me, know me, and that’s all that matters; it just shows how juvenile and pathetic she is. I just get overwhelmed sometimes and feel like I’m stuck in this awful predicament. I feel like I’m too young for this and not ready to deal with a crazy ex wife who will have to be around for years and years to come, or to help them raise their daughter. Yet at the same time, I would hate to have to leave my boyfriend, I want things to work out. I had a tendency of peeing very often and after I'm done peeing I pee more! So I checked with da doctor. He said that because my urine sample had a slight raise of white blood cell like (not exactly normal but could be considered normal) that the case came from an infection. So he gave me antibiotics and a bladder pain reliever, the morning after I took the pill which was 17:00 I felt somewhat better, for like half the day. Then and 17:00 today it felt slightly worse. When do the meds actually take significant effect???

Problems with Pogo since going wireless?

I've been a pogo member for about 5 yrs. and never had a problem with pogo games. Since I went wireless, I keep getting cut out with the message about server problem. One computer on the router is XP and my laptop is Vista. I checked and I have the latest version of Java. This issue happens on both computers. I am debating whether or not my little sister is a genius. She is ten now, but she was already read all of Edgar Allen Poe by the time she was eight. As well as all sorts of clic books such as Jane Eyre, Dracula, and Great Expectations. She scored in the college reading level (she's in fourth grade), and was writing poetry when she was seven. However, her math abilities are very low, and unfortunatley, some people use that as not being able to recognize her intelligence. She also mentioned to me she felt sorry for the creature in Frankenstein, and said he only wanted a friend, but everyone judged him. So, why was it in the horror genre if it was so sad. I have heard about brain abilities to accept reading or math over other subjects. But a little girl reading all those works and at high level flawlessly and quickly. Would you consider her a genius? Can I use pine needles for a filler in large planter boxes?

I am making planter boxes that go all around our mobile home for keeping the warmth in in the winter and flowers the rest of the year. Would it be all right to put pine needles (we have an abundance of them)in the bottom part of the boxes. You may want to give him some time before moving in. I'm sure he's great now and very sincere, but it's a big adjustment getting out of rehab. He'll need to focus on himself for a while to make sure he can stay clean. You don't want to move in with your daughter and find out in 6 months that the stress of moving in together so soon after him coming out of rehab caused him to have a relapse. You need to focus on your daughter first. Is he getting out of rehab and moving back into the same town where he was using? What is a better alternative to chlorox for cleaning?

I always used chlorox for cleaning my bathtub, toilet, floors, kitchen. I like it because it does its job well and it's cheap. The only drawback here is the odor. I have tried the scented ones but it still gives an unacceptable odor especially if I have friends coming in the house during the winter where everything is closed. Any solution for this? Any alternative? Anything I can add more to chlorox to neutralize the odor since it really is very cheap and it works. I can live with the smell. Practising scales is always a good thing to do, but do not attempt to go any higher without a professional tutor, there are ways of accessing higher notes, but you should never try to stretch your voice higher than its naturally capable of going, you can do yourself damage by forcing note out. If you sing as a b, but have told you could be a tenor, then it sounds to me as though you have a great range already. As a singer I would suggest you concentrate on the quality of the notes you can sing and address reaching higher notes at a later date when someone is there to guide you through this, I also recommend cutting down on daily products and focusing on breathing techniques as this will help you also :)

What I experienced is that although temperatures might seem warm during the day with light reflections on the snow don't forget that the longer you are up the mountain and eating snow the more cold it will get. And being that you've been in the snow as the day goes on the colder it can get. Look into thermals (top and bottom) and some Wigwam or Burton socks specifically made for the snow.

I am an economist with a question on the development of languages. In economics is the concept of diminishing returns but also of technological improvements. Boil moles before using for priming?

you may want to boil it and add it in hot so that you can get it into solution. if you add it cold, it will probably just sink to the bottom unless you plan on stirring alot which would introduce oxygen back into your brew. I've never boiled just moles so maybe it stays liquid once you dilute it anyway. I am fussy about final additions so I would boil it-can't hurt anything.

But, to answer your question about how it should be, I don't think they should have changed the story only to sell more DVDs. Take Pocahontas for example. They did not at all keep the story true to original storytellings. At the time that she met John Smith, she was 13 YEARS OLD. And he moved back to where he came from, and she got married to another man named John. The message in the movie had nothing to do with the real message, which was that Pocahontas was a leader even though she was 13 (although I wouldn't quote me on that because I am not 100% sure). In Mulan, the message was great as well, and I honestly think the messages were equally great.

This is my first garden in many many years. The green beans were normal. But everything else is stunted. The last six years have definately been rough. I have been disrespectful, calling her names and being controlling, it has turned physical and she definately contributed (pushing, cursing, blocking the door, even slapping each other). I notice my headlights seem to cut off and on. Mainly the pager side, wut could this be? I tried running lights in the day time while driving and they seem to stay on with no problem, but soon as night time come boom I start to look like a motorcycle coming down the road! So if I decide to try high beems I get nothing.. so if I deside to cut off lights and turn by on then no light but parkinging light will show. What could be goin on

What is happening to my brain?

Water pressure in condo?

So I just bought a condo in a high rise building, and my shower has very low water pressure; to the point where its very hard to take a shower in a timely fashion. I tried installing a Waterpik shower head, but that didn't change the pressure that much. Water is included in the HOA fees... Is it possible to change the water pressure to my unit, or even better, get the condo to fix it? Is there anything I can do from a legal standpoint?

I am planning on moving to Florida next spring. My license will no longer be suspended, but i will still be paying on my driver responsibility fee. They now allow you to make installment payments and get your license back. I am wondering if I can move to Florida and no longer make those payments. I know I will not be able to drive in Michigan anymore, I don't care.
